20th Apr 2026

Buíochais Raifil na Cásca ón Choiste na dTuismitheoirí, Gaelscoil na gCeithre Máistrí

Bhí crannchur bliaintiúil eagraithe ag Coiste na dTuismitheoirí um Cháisc arís. D'éirigh go hiontach leis an chrannchur agus tá muid thar a bheith buíoch don Choiste, do na tuismitheoirí agus na páistí agus do na hurraithe go léir. Féach thíos an ráiteas ónár gCoiste Tuismitheoirí. Tógadh timpeall 4000 euro a rachaidh go mór chun leasa na bpáistí sa scoil.

Over the Easter holidays Gaelscoil na gCeithre Máistrí Parent’s Association ran their annual Easter Raffle Fundraiser. We had yet another extremely successful fundraiser, with the live draw taking place in the school on Thursday evening last, the 16th of April. We had a wonderful and energetic turnout for the live draw and we are beyond delighted the top prize of a €500 Center Parcs Voucher went to one of our very own students, Cormac Mac a Bhaird. The full list of winners is attached below.

The success of our fundraiser would not have been possible without the generous donations and continuous support of our sponsors, @MEE Supplements , @Rhatigan Architects , @The Reveller Bar , @The Harbour Restaurant & Bar , @Donegal Town Credit Union , @McCafferty’s Donegal Town , @Island Blooms , @Pets R Us Superstore Donegal , @Donegal Town Hardware & D.I.Y. Ltd , @All Sports , @Yoga with Sarah Mo , @Frosses Coffee Well and  @Donegal Fruit Co. We are beyond grateful for all your generosity and kindness in helping us deliver such a prize worthy raffle. A truly massive thank you ónár gcroí to you all.

We would also like to sincerely thank @Kavanagh’s Supervalu Donegal Town , where we kicked things off at the end of March, with a very wholesome day selling tickets. Thank you to Supervalu for hosting us and allowing us to get our fundraiser off to a stellar start. To those within the community who visited our table, bought tickets and general chit chat throughout the day – We thank you.

Lastly but certainly not least – to all those who purchased online tickets from near and far, via our iDonate fundraising page and most importantly, to our parents and superstar students of the Gaelscoil who shared, promoted and sold lines over the Easter break. None of this is possible without the commitment, support and team spirit within our school, enabling us all to come together for the betterment and benefit of all our children. A final word of thanks to the staff of the Gaelscoil also – for putting up with all the chaos, organising and demands over the last number of weeks in helping us get our fundraiser over the line! Go raibh míle míle maith agaibh uilig. Until next year! 😉
